Folusho Olaniyan - MD/CEO, UTC NIG. PLC
Folusho joined UTC Nig. Plc in May 2005 as Head of Sales and Marketing. Her goodwill in the food industry has facilitated rejuvenation of the company’s trading prospects. She was instrumental to the company’s turnaround in her capacity as Head, Sales and Marketing from 2005 to May 2007 when she was appointed Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer.
Folusho Olaniyan started her career in the food industry with the Leventis Group in September 1988 as a Management Trainee. She was appointed Head Sales and Marketing for Leventis Foods Limited in 2000. Her exposure in the course of her career in Nigeria and the European Union has earned her a competitive edge in the food industry.
Folusho holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Lagos, a Professional Post Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Maidenhead, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
Folusho has attended executive training programmes at the Lagos Business School Pan African University & the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, University of Pittsburg, U.S.A. She is a Certified Marketer of the United Kingdom, and a member of the Institute of Directors. She is also a Chartered member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria. Foluso is married and blessed with three children.
David Ayodele - Finance
David Ayodele joined UTC in January 1995 as head of finance. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He trained with KPMG and then joined UAC Nigeria Plc where he rose to commercial director BPP. He was also the former ED Finance and Admin African Paints.
Vincent Moyo - Operations
Vincent joined UTC in October 2006 as factory operations manager in charge of meat, confectionery and projects. He has sixteen years experience in the food industry including ten years in meat processing.
Prior to joining UTC, he was Chief Engineer at Colcom Foods in Zimbabwe. He has a BSc. in Veterinary Biochemistry, a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe.
Oladapo Adenekan - Production
Oladapo Adenekan, production manager meat processing plant, has been with the company for over 15 years. He started his career as a microbiologist with Loladson Consultants in 1988 and then with Niger Biscuits before joining UTC in May 1990. He was the quality control manager in 1993 and later joined the meat processing plant in 1999 where he has been the factory manager from 2000.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Ibadan and MBA (Marketing) from the University of Lagos. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chartered Institute of Administration and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Yinka Olashehinde - Sales and Marketing
Yinka joined the UTC Group in February 1999.He is an Associate Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN). He holds an MBA in Marketing from University of Ilorin as well as Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biochemistry.
He has well over 12 years experience in the field of Sales and Marketing. He joined Doyin Group of Companies in 1996 and rose to the post of Assistant Marketing Manager Pharmaceuticals. Yinka is married and blessed with three children.
Bola Ajala - Head of IT
Bola Ajala is an accomplished IT professional with over 25years of experience. She is an achiever and very reliable in her field.
Her working experience started with stint at Lagos State Ministry of Education before joining UTC Nigeria Plc in 1982 as a programmer. She has undergone series of IT courses and seminars and rose through various ranks to become the Head of IT.
As Head of IT, she oversees, initiates and co-ordinates all IT activities of the Company. She is a committed, dedicated, hard working, dependable and loyal staff.
She holds a 1979 Second Class Upper degree certificate in Computer Science at University of Ibadan and is a member of Computer Association Of Nigeria.
Dada Arokoyu - Head of Internal Audit
Mr. Dada Arokoyu joined UTC in April 2007 as the Internal Auditor. He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He holds Higher National Diploma in Accounting. He trained with Babatunde Ayeni & Co. Chartered Accountants.
He started his career with Ministry of Defence (Nigerian Army). He was the accountant of H.F. Schroeder (WA) Ltd from 2001 to 2004. He also worked with Gulf Bank of Nigeria Plc from 2004 to March 2007.
